As seen on TV

Jan 10, 4:45am…my alarm went off, I decided to take care of my “sick” situation.  I posted about not feeling well a couple days before and I knew if I got up (gym was closed, mentally wasn’t ready to dive into any work) I would just be worse off by Monday.  I checked some apps on my phone (saying “some” to disguise that it was really Facebook, Instagram, and maybe scrolling through my camera roll) and decided to turn my alarm off and go back to sleep.  I was still up and downstairs by 8:30am and logging on to do some things on my to do’s like registering for a women’s weekend with a live stream of Christian speakers with some friends from OU, ordering pillows I saw on a commercial ( which is my first “as seen on TV” purchase that wasn’t for one of my Grandma’s, ordering a baby shower gift for a friend, ordering pre-made healthy meals (  So basically I drank coffee, diffused essential oils, took some medicine, and spent about $400 in a matter of minutes online.  The resting (shopping) paid off though.  My neck is still swollen in places, but I was feeling better than I had been most of the week by the time the evening rolled around and I was feeling more myself by the time we met up with some friends for dinner.

Jan 11, 4:45am…my alarm went off, I got up by 5am.  Still no gym open but today I actually had some pending items for work.  I don’t know if they were “pending” as much as me wanting to get ahead on things and having this unhealthy obsession with keeping my email at a non-scrolling point.  For those of you with Lotus Notes and a bottom view window pane, you know what I’m talking about.  I actually didn’t get down to non-scrolling (past tense because I just x’d out of my email) but I was only over by a few and actually took the last hour or so to work on something that probably wouldn’t have turned out as well if I would’ve done it between meetings next week.  Thanks to resting yesterday and some sudafed, I’m feeling better today and praying that continues throughout this coming week.  It’s 8am on a Sunday and I’ve already worked an hour, watched 2 infomercials on skincare and 1 on a piece of exercise equipment, caught up on social media, and posted this blog post….I may just make Chris breakfast in bed…..

This pic best represents my Saturday…
