September 20th: Today I had planned to make a juice called “Tropical Cucumber” but Joe couldn’t find guavas at the grocery, so I wasn’t able to make today’s juice. I don’t feel too bad about it because I ended up juicing twice yesterday. I juiced once in the morning, which I blogged about and then I made juice for my flute quartet after our recording session. 😉
Tropical Cucumber
1 cucumber
2 guavas
1 apple
September 21st: This morning I made a juice called “Cool ‘n’ Pale” and I wasn’t a huge fan. It was easy to make but it was super sweet and the flavor was pretty overwhelming for my taste.
Cool ‘n’ Pale
1 cucumber
2 apples
September 22nd: Since broccoli is high in vitamin C, juiced broccoli can boost immunity and increase the production of infection-fighting white blood cells. This morning I made a juice called “Green Grapefruit” and it was surprisingly good. I didn’t have very high hopes because I’m not a huge broccoli fan but I actually likes this juice!
Green Grapefruit
8 broccoli spears
2 grapefruits (or 2 oranges)
September 23rd: To supplement protein in juices, raw food experts suggest adding almond milk, Greek yogurt, flaxseed or peanut butter. Today I made a juice called “Green Apple” and it was pretty good but very sweet.
Green Apple
8 broccoli spears
1 bunch fresh parsley
3 apples
