Saturday update: After posting on Saturday, Joe and I met Michael Lester for brunch at CapCity Diner in Gahanna and then headed over to the church for our first rehearsal. We’ve been putting the music from my February goal to use by planning for my April goal of performing! Score!

Sunday, March 8th: Brooke has been going to a free yoga class on Sundays at 11:00am at Easton Town Center’s Lululemon store for years and for the first time, I was able to go with her! YAY! Brooke even gave me her old yoga mat since I didn’t have one. (Thanks, Brooke!) The store features a local yoga studio every month and each class is taught by one of their instructors. Luckily, today’s instructor used the Vinyasa Flow Sequence, which is exactly what I was looking for in this yoga journey. I’m so glad that I’ve been doing power yoga as part of my P-90 warm-up or I would have been struggling for sure! Towards the end of the class I noticed that my legs were starting to get pretty weak and I was getting pretty shaky. It was such a great class and I felt absolutely fantastic for the rest of the day. I hope to return next week to experience a new instructor and style of yoga. See below for today’s YogaQuote and some pics from today’s class!

Monday, March 9th: I woke up this morning super sore from yesterday’s class so I decided to take it easy with this morning’s workout and tried the DVD, Perfect in 10 Yoga, De-Stress & Let Go and Deep Relaxation. The stretching was exactly what these sore muscles needed! I also continued toward my January goal by making a 10-Spice Vegetable Soup from the blog, Oh She Glows. If you haven’t had a chance to visit this blog, please do. She has some really great recipes! Here’s today’s YogaQuote.

Tuesday, March 10th: Today’s schedule was completely packed and my hamstrings feel like rubber bands that have been in the freezer for weeks, so I decided to take it easy and move on in the DVD Perfect in 10 Yoga, Awaken & Energize. It was the perfect mini-workout to avoid injury and insure that I could make it to MTMS by 9:00am for a tiresome 12-hour day. Here’s today’s YogaQuote!

Wednesday, March 11th: I spent the morning preparing tonight’s dinner, a Vegan Caesar Salad and Vegan Tomato Basil Pasta with zucchini noodles from the blog, Oh She Glows. I’m keepin’ on keepin’ on with the January Goal as much as possible! It’s Wednesday and I’M STILL SORE! Once I cleaned up my mess in the kitchen I completed the DVD, Perfect in 10 Yoga, Back Relief & Flexibility, which was exactly what I needed before frantically running out of the house to get to work for a meeting! I’m loving today’s YogaQuote and I hope you do too. Namaste…
